Marko Röhr´s film crew leads the viewers to the last unexplored region in Europe: the unique underwater world of Iceland. We explore the geysers with boiling-hot water and crystal-clear lakes by the coast. We dive under icebergs, to crevices between the continental shelves and into the deepest caves.

The "I" of the film, the Diver, searches for an answer to the origins of life and believes he will find it in Iceland, as the island rose from the sea much later than the continents of the world. The script has been written by Antti Tuuri, who has studied the ancient Icelandic sagas in depth.
